A time to reflect on the experience of the horrific war. But how to remember? What are the sources of hope and light which promise a better and more peaceful world?

Join a cast of readers and musicians who will present poetry readings about the war and the coming of peace. They will also draw on fascinating stories about Bridport in those momentous times. Songs and tunes of wartime will be mixed with contemporary music from Billy Bragg, Steve Knightly and John Tams. “Light to the Darkness” is a song which reflects the event and has been specially written by David Powell.
