Owl Sense
Miriam Darlington

an illustrated talk introduced by James Crowden

Miriam Darlington lives in Devon and is an avid bird-watcher, top otter-spotter and expert owl-finder. Owls have captivated Miriam and the whole human imagination for millennia. Fixated on this night hunter as predator, messenger, emblem of wisdom or portent of doom – we are all fascinated by this great bird of night. OWL SENSE is a book about wild places and in her watching and listening to owls in their natural world, Miriam cleaves myth from reality and brings the strangeness of magnificence of these creatures to life.
