Ambra Edwards – environmental campaigner and author has written The Story of the English Garden which is a long and colourful one. She takes us on a tour from tiny medieval gardens to vast Georgian parks, from regimented Victorian glasshouses crammed with exotica to today’s informal, ecologically inspired plantings. Vanessa Berridge celebrates the lives of Great British Gardeners from the early plantsmen to Chelsea medal winners. Together Ambra and Vanessa give a gloriously vivid illustrated talk which charts the history of gardening over 450 years.
