The Bridport Literary Festival 2018

Gill Meller is a chef, food writer, stylist and cookery teacher. He has lived and worked in Dorset all his life and much of his growing up in this glorious county has influenced his writing and creation of unique recipes. He has been part of the River Cottage team for 11 years working closely with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Gill’s first book Gather was a huge award winning best-seller and his new book Time distils the essence of his approach to food and cooking time spent in the kitchen with good ingredients. Morning, noon and night are the touchstones of our days, and our days are the markers of our years. Gill and Shirley’s conversation will be followed by a fantastic Feast which Gill has helped prepare with the cooks of Sladers Yard.
